Vastu Tips !! " The Ideal Place for an Altar "

The prayer room is the third most important quadrant on a property, after the master bedroom and kitchen. It is vital the altar be located correctly so that the occupants will enjoy bliss and peace of mind. The north-east quadrant of the house is the appropriate place for a prayer room; this room should not be used as a bedroom.The Goddess of Wealth resides here. The altar should be placed facing east in the prayer room and the person praying should face west. Ideally, the prayer room should be on the ground floor, but if that is not possible, have it on the top floor – provided it is in the NE quadrant.Use fresh flowers or garlands to decorate the shrine. Do not use artificial blooms because they do not bring any benefit.Photographs of ancestors and family members who have departed should not be placed together on the altar.this room should not be used as a bedroom.

Krishna Jayanthi - 25th August 2008

Sri Krishna Jayanti marks the celebration of the birth of Bhagavan Sri Krishna. Lord Sri Krishna was born on the 'Rohini' nakshatram (star) on Ashtami day. The festival Sri Krishna Jayanti is also known as Gokulashtami and Janmashtam. The actual day of celebration can be on two different days as the star 'Rohini' and Ashtami may not be on the same day.

Poojai for Sri Krishna Jayanthi will be held from 6.30pm - 8.45 pm in our temple.

Devotees will view Lord Sri Srinivasa Perumal in different decoration and costume every evening during Navarathiri Kolu Mandapam.Our temples specility is the Pooja and the Navarathiri festival will be conducted exactly how it been done in Tamil Nadu well known Perumal Temples such as Sri Rangam, Kumbakonam, Mannarkudi & Nagapatnam.

In Malaysia, Sri Chakarathalwar, the Deity who determines our life cycle, resides only in Our S Srinivasa Perumal Temple, Puchong resembles the one in Sri Rangam,Tamil Nadu.

Varudha Abishegam - 28th Aug - 2nd Sept 2008

Varudha Abishegam will be held in conjunction of Temple's 7th Year Anniversary.

Pooja's held :
- Nine Kalasam & Yagasalai Pooja will be held daily. Morning & Evening, for continous 6 Days from 28th August 2008 onwards.

Devotes who like to take part in the prayers be at temple by 7.30 am and 7 pm daily.

Pall Kudam ( பல்குடம் ) 10.8.2008, Sunday 7.00am .Pall Kudam will be taken from Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple to Sri Maha Karumariaman Temple, Puchong Jaya.

தீமிதி - Thee Mithi will be held at Sri Maha Karumariaman Temple, Puchong Jaya on 10.8.2008 Sunday at 7.00pm.

சந்திர கிரகணம் - Lunar Eclipse 17th August 2008

A Lunar Eclipse occurs when part or all of the Moon passes into Earth's shadow. This doesn't happen every Full Moon though, because the Moon's orbit is actually tipped about 5° with respect to Earth's orbit around the Sun. This means that during most Full Moon's, the Moon is actually above or below the Earth's plane and therefore not in the shadow of the Earth.
